From the perspective of cotton production, the national cotton production in 2022 was 5.977 million tons, an increase of 247000 tons compared to 2021. Among them, Xinjiang's cotton production was 5.391 million tons, an increase of 262000 tons from the previous year, accounting for 90.2% of the total national output. It is predicted that the national cotton production in 2023 will be 6.07 million tons.

From the perspective of yarn production, the cumulative value of China's yarn production in 2022 is 25.8 million tons, and it is expected that the product production will reach 24.79 million tons in 2023.
